Indiana State Police for 23 years. He began working for Vandagriff & Associates after leaving the Speedway Police Department
his knowledge and experience added greatly to the professional needs of our investigations.

William J. "Bill" Hilzley, passed away Sunday, April 30th, 2006 at the St. Vincent Hospice Center. He was 70 and was born
April 18, 1936 in Lowell, Indiana, to the late Arthur and Myrtle Hilzley. On September 20, 1958, he was united in marriage
to Rosalin (Rosie) Hornak in Crown Point, Indiana. Bill was a member of the Indiana State Police Alliance, Inc. and
the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators. Bill is survived by his wife, Rosie; daughter, Kimberly
(Kevin) Garner and grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary and Hailey; daughter, Dawn (Rodney) Ferguson and granddaughter, Brittany;
sister, Lola Cox; step-brothers, Larry & Morris Hilzley; and his beloved dog, "Sassy".
